Pick the one you keep going back to. It's rarely the most formal photo in the gallery. More often it's a laugh during the speeches, or the two of you walking off on your own. If you look at it every time you open the gallery, that's the one for the wall.
One large, or a set. One photograph printed large suits a hallway or the space above a bed. For a staircase or a long wall, choose three or more in the same frame and mat. Getting ready, the ceremony and the party tell the day in order.
How big can it go? Files from your photographer's gallery are usually full size, and most will print well at A3 or A2. Upload yours and the designer shows how well it suits each size before you order.
Which paper. Smooth Cotton Rag is our default: matt, calm and detailed. For a black and white portrait, Gold Fibre Rag has the feel of a traditional darkroom print. For the look of a classic photo print, choose Smooth Pearl. Every paper costs the same at each size.
A mat gives it room. A white mat between the photograph and the frame is the classic choice for a wedding portrait. Mats come in 27 colours, from 20 mm to 150 mm wide.
For a first anniversary. Paper is the traditional first-anniversary gift, and a fine art print of the day is about as fitting as it gets. Order a couple of weeks ahead to allow for printing, framing and delivery.
What customers say
★★★★★
Ordered multiple prints and I am so pleased with the result. I also appreciate how quickly my prints
arrived and the communication from the team. I will order with Stil Lab again.

Communication Clear, and arrived when said it would. Very well priced for a quality product. And most
importantly the frames were perfect, exactly what I wanted. Could not be happier. Thank you very much

Photo print arrived very promptly in perfect condition due to really thorough packaging, even
complimentary pair of gloves to handle print so as not to leave fingerprints. Very impressed!

Getting the photo right
From your photographer's gallery, use the download button for the full-size file rather than saving the picture from the web page.
Use the original file, not a screenshot or a copy sent through a messaging app, which is
usually shrunk.
The designer checks the size for you. Once your photo shows in the preview, it tells you how
well it suits the size you've chosen, and suggests a smaller size if it would print better there.
Not sure which paper? Choose "Recommended for You" and we'll pick the best of our nine Ilford
papers for your photo. The paper doesn't change the price.
Questions
Can I print photos my photographer took?
If your photographer gave you the files for personal use, you can print them for your home. If you're not sure, check with them.
Can you frame a wedding print I already have?
Yes. Choose "Start with a frame" in the designer and order the frame on its own, in the size your print needs.
How long does it take?
Prints are usually ready to dispatch within 2–5 working days. Framed orders take 1–2 weeks, and larger
orders can take longer.
What if something isn't right with my photo?
A person checks every file before it's printed. If something could be better, we'll contact you before we
print.
