The best photo is the one that looks like them. Not the sharpest one, or the one with the tidiest background. The head tilt, the ear that never sits flat, the spot on the couch. Those are the photos people end up framing.
Photos from your phone. Most pet photos are taken on a phone, and that's fine. Upload the original from your camera roll, not a screenshot or a copy sent through a messaging app. The designer tells you how big it can go. A recent phone photo usually prints well at A4 and often at A3.
Black coats and white coats. Very dark and very light fur are the hardest to photograph. If you're taking a new photo for printing, soft daylight from a window shows the detail in the fur better than a flash does.
For a pet who has died. Choose the photo that's most them, even if it isn't perfect. A small framed print on a shelf or a desk is often the right size. An 8×10" framed print starts at $37.90. If the only photo you have is small, print it smaller and it will look sharper. The designer will suggest a size.
More than one pet. Give each one their own frame in the same finish, and hang them side by side. Or print a run of photos from puppy to now. You can add up to 20 of each print to your basket.

Ordered multiple prints and I am so pleased with the result. I also appreciate how quickly my prints
arrived and the communication from the team. I will order with Stil Lab again.

Communication Clear, and arrived when said it would. Very well priced for a quality product. And most
importantly the frames were perfect, exactly what I wanted. Could not be happier. Thank you very much

Photo print arrived very promptly in perfect condition due to really thorough packaging, even
complimentary pair of gloves to handle print so as not to leave fingerprints. Very impressed!

Getting the photo right
Phone photos work. A recent phone photo prints well at A4 and often at A3; the designer tells you which.
Use the original file, not a screenshot or a copy sent through a messaging app, which is
usually shrunk.
The designer checks the size for you. Once your photo shows in the preview, it tells you how
well it suits the size you've chosen, and suggests a smaller size if it would print better there.
