Preparing your file for print
What to upload, how much resolution each print size needs, and what we check before your photograph is printed.
File types
Upload a JPEG, PNG, TIFF or HEIC file of up to 100 MB.
Resolution
We recommend 250 DPI at the size you print. Between 200 and 250 DPI a photograph should still make a strong print; below 200 DPI, choose a smaller size or a higher-resolution file. Once your photograph shows in the preview, the designer shows the resolution it will print at for the size you choose. Some browsers can't preview TIFF or HEIC files; check those against the table below.

Cropping and position
Once your photograph shows in the preview, you can zoom and position it within the print, and the preview shows how it will be cropped.
Very large prints
A custom size can be up to 1118 mm on its short edge and 4 metres long. At that scale, check your file has enough pixels for your size before you order.
